About the Sweepstakes

The Rotary Club of Grand Junction has served this community for over 100 years with projects representing the Rotary motto -"Service Above Self". The Club has seven areas of focus for community support: Education and Literacy, Disease Prevention and Treatment, Water and Sanitation, Maternal and Child Health, Economic and community betterment, Peace and conflict prevention/resolution, and Supporting the Environment.

The Snowball Sweepstakes is in its 7th year and is a key fundraiser for local non-profit organizations with direct benefits totaling over $100,000.00 in direct support to local non-profit organizations whose programs focus on education, health, and youth development. The Rotary Club of Grand Junction has historically raised over $150,000 annually through local efforts such as Salvation Army Bell Ringing, Banff Film Festival, Snowball Sweepstakes, Robinhood campaign, School District 51 Back to School Supplies, and First-grade reading books to D51 children.
